Barcode and QR values
The encoder runs in your browser. We do not upload the values you type to a barcode-generation service. The tool can place the selected type and value in the address bar to preserve its state. That address may remain in your browser history or be disclosed if you share it; remove the query string before sharing a screenshot or link containing private information.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics starts only after you accept analytics cookies. It helps us understand page visits and device/browser usage. Our page-view configuration removes query strings and fragments from the reported page address and referrer so encoded values are excluded from those fields. Google may process cookie identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location and device information.
Use the “Privacy & cookies” button in the footer to change your choice. Rejecting analytics does not disable the generator. Revoking consent stops future analytics on this device; it does not automatically erase information already processed.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
Google AdSense can use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Our current consent settings keep advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization denied. The “Privacy & cookies” button currently manages analytics consent; it does not offer an option to accept advertising cookies. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Local preferences
Your browser stores the theme and analytics choice in local storage. You can clear them through your browser’s site-data settings. Downloaded labels are saved to the location you choose.
Support payments
The optional support button uses Stripe. Following the payment link on the support page takes you to Stripe, which processes payment information when you choose to pay. We do not receive your full card details. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
Hosting and contact
The hosting service handles ordinary web requests, which can include IP addresses and technical request information. If you email us, your email address and message are used to respond and investigate the issue. Do not send secrets or unnecessary personal data.
Questions or requests: jon31no@gmail.com. See Google’s privacy policy for its processing.
